FAQs

What are the key stages in your video production process?

We follow a structured workflow with clear milestones. It starts with concept development and scriptwriting, then moves into storyboarding and style design, followed by the production phase (live-action filming or animation). After that, we handle editing and sound design, incorporating review rounds, and finally deliver the completed video.

How long does the process typically take?

A typical 2–3 minute video takes 4–8 weeks from idea to delivery, covering every stage from concept and scripting to filming or animation, and final edits.

How do you ensure the video fits our brand and audience?

We invest time upfront to understand your business and audience. In our kickoff, we’ll discuss your goals and review any brand guidelines you have, so the script, visuals, and tone align with your brand identity. This ensures the video resonates with your target viewers and feels consistent with your messaging.

Will you help with the script and concept development?

Absolutely – you don’t need a finished script or storyboard to start. Our creative team will develop the concept and write a compelling script based on your input. You’ll get to review and approve the script (and any storyboards) before we move into production.

What do we need to provide during the project?

We’ll guide you on anything we need from your side. Typically this includes your brand assets (logos, style guidelines), access to your product or screen recordings if we’re showcasing software, and any key points or messaging you want the video to cover. Supplying these materials helps us accurately represent your product and brand in the video.

Do you produce both animated and live-action videos? How does the process differ?

Yes, we produce both animated videos and live-action filmed videos. For animated projects, the process involves scripting, storyboarding, creating illustrations, then animating with voiceover and music. Live-action projects include planning the shoot logistics, capturing footage on-site with our film crew, and then editing and post-production. In both cases, we handle everything end-to-end and will recommend the format that best fits your story.

How will we collaborate and give feedback during the project?

We make collaboration easy and transparent. Our team uses Slack for quick communication and updates, and we use Frame.io for video reviews so you can leave timestamped feedback directly on the footage. We’ll also set up regular check-ins or calls at key milestones to discuss progress and make sure we’re aligned at every step.

Our team is remote. Can we still do a video project with you?

Absolutely – we run projects with remote teams all the time. We’ll use video calls for meetings and Slack for day-to-day communication, with Frame.io as a centralized platform to share edits and gather feedback. Even for live-action filming, we can travel to your location or coordinate local videographers, so distance isn’t a barrier to creating a great video.

Do we get to approve the video at each stage?

Yes, we involve you at all the key stages of the project. You will review and approve the script and storyboard before production begins, so you know the plan. Then after we produce the video, you’ll get to review the draft cuts and request changes during the editing phase before final approval.

How many revision rounds are included?

We include three rounds of revisions to the edit by default. That means after you see the initial cut of the video, you’ll have up to three opportunities to request changes or tweaks. This ensures we can refine the video based on your feedback and get it just right.

If our video involves live-action filming, how are shoots scheduled and can you film on-site at our location?

For live-action videos, we coordinate closely with you to schedule the shoot at a convenient time. We can film on-site at your offices or another location of your choice – our production team will handle all the logistics, including bringing the crew and equipment needed. Before the shoot, we’ll plan everything (shot lists, interview questions, etc.) so that the day of filming runs smoothly with minimal disruption to your team.

Do we need to appear on camera, or can you provide actors and voiceovers?

It’s completely up to you. If you prefer not to be on camera, we can source professional on-screen talent or actors for the live-action shoot, and we have a roster of voiceover artists for narration. If you or your team do want to appear in the video, we’ll make sure you’re well-prepared and comfortable on camera during the filming process.

What if we have a tight deadline for the video?

If you have a specific launch or event date coming up, let us know – we will do our best to accommodate it. A typical project takes a few weeks, but we can often adjust the schedule or allocate extra resources to meet an accelerated timeline. We’ll be upfront about what’s feasible and ensure that even on a tight deadline, the video maintains high quality.

How long does each video take?

Typical timelines range from 3 to 6 weeks depending on complexity. We offer rush options when needed.

Do I need to write the script or brief?

No—we handle everything. You bring product context; we translate it into strategy and story.

What if we’ve never done video before?

That’s common. Our process is designed to guide you from first idea to final launch, even if you’ve never produced content before.

Do you include multiple formats?

Yes. Every deliverable includes exports for web, social, and paid. Optional add-ons include cutdowns, thumbnails, and variants.

How do we collaborate?

Slack, Notion, Frame.io, and live calls—tailored to your team’s style. You’ll always know where things stand.
