Showfreight Showcase: An Award-Winning Campaign For Europa Worldwide Group

One of our latest campaigns, a social video for Europa Worldwide Group, was recently awarded a Hermes Creative Award. Check out the award-winning video!

So, turns out awards are like buses. No sooner had we finished celebrating the fact that we won our first creative award, another one came in! This time it was a fully 3d animated project for one of our longest serving clients!

Europa - Award Blog Post

The Brief

Our client, Europa Worldwide Group, was looking to increase awareness of the rising Exhibition Freight division within their company and approached us to create video content to support their campaign. The output needed to distil a relatively complex subject matter and communicate the benefits of their services over their competitors in a crowded market.


A short promotional video had to get across all of the different aspects of exhibition support including inbound and outbound freight, build and take down as well as detail the different forms of freight available; air, road and sea. The content also had to work across both internal and external comms, attracting both existing and potential new customers while upskilling the rest of the company on the Showfreight division.

Our Approach

We knew that the approach we chose had to get across a lot of content and, in terms of freight, literal moving parts. A live action route would've provided a great snapshot of the complexity of Europa's transport network and the delicacy of their operation at both the start and finish of the exhibition journey. 


However, we decided to pursue an animated route as this gave us the opportunity to showcase the whole process, including all options of transport available, with relative ease. This also meant we didn't have to rely on using stock footage or add cost onto the project of capturing the Europa fleet in action. 


3D animation was chosen with a scripted voiceover to detail each stage of the journey. The 3D approach allowed us to really get across the complex nature of what the Europa Showfreight division brings to the company whilst ensuring that the company branding stayed prominent throughout.
